survival of the fit

“How you perceive the world affects how you act in the world.  If you see trees and you see dollar bills, you will treat the tree a certain way,” says Derrick Jensen in a video conference delivered from Saskatoon this spring.  During this interview, he turns upside down long held notions of evolution and survival of the fittest to the survival of the fit and asks how can we fit into our surroundings instead of exploiting them.
